Why work with City Care Partnership

The basics

  • Our Community Access Support Workers earn an annual salary between £26,104 to £27,389.
  • Sleep-in rates: £74.86
  • We recruit staff on permanent contracts. 
  • We are not an agency!
  • Our full-time contracts are 39hrs hours a week.
  • Rota’s are given 4 – 6 weeks in advance, which helps you to plan your home life, enjoy the predictability and certainty.
  • Ongoing training and support.
  • Clear routes into management or specialist support roles.

£150
 towards walking boots and coats

City Care Partnership is an active organisation and as well as the weekly hikes, there will always be opportunities to support someone enjoying the great outdoors.

We take the comfort and safety of our staff as seriously as the comfort and safety of those we support and so as soon as you are recruited we will pay £150 towards the cost of outdoor clothing and boots (to get you off on the right foot!)

Employee Assistance Programme

  • The Health e-hub app and online portal: a comprehensive library to help you get through life’s challenges.
  • 24-hour helpline: You can share a problem with someone who listens with care before getting structured, actionable advice.
  • Telephone counselling: you can work through your problems with a therapist accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
  • Face-to-face counselling sessions: you can speak with a local, qualified professional in a private and confidential setting.

Free Medicash cover for you and your children

This is a medical cashback scheme paid for by City Care Partnership that helps with the costs of:

  • Prescription glasses, eye tests, contact lenses
  • Dental check-ups, hygienist visits, crowns, bridges and fillings.
  • A wide range of therapy treatments including physiotherapy and Reiki.
  • Specialist consultations and diagnostic tests.
  • Cash payouts for hospital stays, day-case surgery (NHS or private) and for the arrival of a new baby.
  • Cover for your children (up to age 24) at no extra cost.

Free Private Medical Insurance
(After 12 months service)

Once you have been employed with City Care for 12 months you will automatically be enrolled into the company’s Private Medical Insurance (PMI) policy from Aviva UK Health. This entitles you to a range of treatments and services including:

  • 24-hour GP helpline 0800 158 3112.
  • 24-hour stress counselling helpline 0800 158 3349.
  • Discounted health and fitness club membership.
  • Access to a selection of rewards and ticket giveaways with Aviva Advantages.
  • Back-to-Better service - where muscular and skeletal injuries can be addressed with a clinical provider without the need for a GP referral.
  • £200 Excess.
  • £1000 towards out-patient treatment.
  • 6 weeks option - the maximum amount of time you’ll have to wait for a procedure is six weeks this includes treatment via NHS.
