Work with us
City Care Partnership is a dynamic and active employer. We are always looking to recruit staff who share our values.
What We Do
At City Care Partnership, we have always developed our services to meet the needs of individuals who would often struggle in mainstream community services.
Art is also a very sensory experience.
At City Care Partnership, we believe that art is for everyone. It’s not just about creating something beautiful — it’s about self-expression, exploration, and personal growth. Art provides a platform to process the world, express emotions, and explore identity.
Art offers a wide range of benefits for the people we support, including:
Most importantly, art is valuable in itself — as a way to explore creativity, express feelings, and celebrate individuality.
We run art sessions every Wednesday in a supportive and welcoming environment. Around 10 regular members take part in these sessions, working on individual and group projects that reflect their interests and inspirations.
For those who may prefer a quieter or more individual approach, we also offer one-to-one art sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These personalised sessions provide a calm and focused setting, allowing individuals to engage with art on their own terms.
One-to-one sessions can be developed to suit a particular skill such as maths
Focus and skills development are part of the process.
We believe in fostering an environment where everyone feels safe to express themselves. Our art sessions are designed to:
We are constantly developing and improving our art projects to meet the evolving needs of the people we support. Currently, we are designing a 6-week project programme focused on a specific art medium — chosen by the individuals who attend. This approach allows for deep engagement and skill-building in a chosen artistic practice.
Art at City Care is about more than just making something — it’s about expressing who you are and finding joy in the creative process. Whether working independently or collaborating with others, each person’s unique contribution is celebrated and valued.
Our aim is to continue evolving our art offerings to support creative freedom, skill development, and positive wellbeing. We are committed to making art accessible and meaningful for everyone.
Crafts can be tailored to the interests of the individual, which creates greater interest and delight at the results!
Group sessions are also another opportunity to socialise and have fun.
Crafts are also a great opportunity to take a finished item home.
